On November 25, 2015, the Belgrade Sava Centre will be the venue for the first RSNOG conference, bringing together around twenty Serbian network experts. The conference is sponsored by RNIDS and RIPE NCC and participation is free of charge.
The first RSNOG conference will begin at 2 pm in the Japanese Room with presentations by Vladimir Simić (JUNIS), Nenad Krajnović (Belgrade School of Electrical Engineering), Boško Radivojević (Mainstream), Zoran Perović (Serbian Open eXchange), Milan Anđelković (Radijus Vektor) and Peđa Radoičić (Telenor). At 5 pm there will be a discussion on the topic “Open Networking in practice”. After an introductory presentation by Goran Slavić (Serbian Open eXchange), the debate will be joined by Mina Tomić (Vip Mobile), Pavle Vuletić (AMRES), Petar Bojović (Faculty of Computer Science) and Goran Slavić.

Serbian Network Operators’ Group (RSNOG) is an informal community of local network experts, gathered around a shared interest in improving the quality, performance, stability and security of Internet networks and services in Serbia. RSNOG actively encourages the exchange of ideas, knowledge and best practices among network professionals in Serbia, as well as collaboration with similar groups in the region, Europe and all over the world.
The Serbian National Internet Domain Registry Foundation (RNIDS) is a professional, non-party, non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation, founded by the local Internet community in Serbia in order to manage the Serbian national Internet domains. RNIDS offers administrative, organisational and financial support for the activities of the RSNOG community.
Réseaux IP Européens Network Coordination Centre (RIPE NCC) coordinates the forum of European IP networks, one of five global regional Internet registries (RIRs), responsible for the territory of Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. The members of the organisation are local Internet registries to whom RIPE allots the IP addresses and AS numbers which are essential for the functioning of the Internet.
